Project description:

For one of European Banks Capgemini was tasked with development of online ecosystem for managing banking assets in a convenient and secure way for all branches across Europe. Project’s Scope included
management and support of existing applications, migration from on-premise infrastructure to cloud architecture (Azure) as well as delivery of backend and frontend solutions for mobile application.

During the project we guided our Customer through DevOps transformation. Ten Scrum teams of 50+ engineers from Capgemini have shown how to take responsibility for the whole Sprint delivery including infrastructure, quality, monitoring  and support. Development and acceptance environments are delivered in automated manner.

Department description:

Insights & Data practice delivers cutting-edge data centric solutions.

Most of our projects are Cloud & Big Data engineering. We develop solutions to process large, also unstructured, datasets, with dedicated Cloud Data services on AWS, Azure or GCP.

We are responsible for full SDLC of the solution: apart from using data processing tools (e.g., ETL), we code a lot in Python, Scala or Java and use DevOps tools and best practices. The data is either exposed to downstream systems via API, outbound interfaces or visualized on reports and dashboards.

Within our AI CoE we deliver Data Science and Machine Learning projects with focus on NLP, Anomaly Detection and Computer Vision.

Additionally, we are exploring the area of Quantum Computing, searching for practical growth opportunities for both us and our clients.

Currently, over 250 of our Data Architects, Engineers and Scientists work on exciting projects for over 30 clients from different sectors (Financial Services, Logistics, Automotive, Telco and others)

Your daily tasks:
  • You will co-design and implement dedicated solutions in the Guidewire Insurance Suite area,
  • use the Gosu programming language (based on the JAVA virtual machine), and / or React,
  • depending on the role in the project, you will analyze, design, implement, test and implement the software,
  • work in international teams based on modern software development methodologies and good software engineering practices.
Our expectations:
  • you have knowledge of JAVAGosu, or other object-oriented languages,
