Maciej, what is your role on the team?

I am infrastructure specialist and I am already 3,5 years at Capgemini (more than 2 years within IA Practice Team)

Can you tell me three key words that best describe your team?

Fun, expertise, jajecznica

What separates your team from the other?

Well… I don’t know other teams so can’t say but for sure we are cooler 🙂

What technologies do you use on daily bases?

ELK, UiPath mostly. Sometimes node/.NET/python if need to debug anything or help others or do something more

How in your opinion will the IA Practice branch be developing?

I think we will stay with RPA for a while and then maybe move for “advanced” solutions.

Will robots take Capgemini over?

Nah

At what ae robots better than humans? Do you name your robots/automations?

Typically they are easier to understand and understand what is wrong with them. I can’t remember if I ever named a robot.

What skills should an automation architect have?

Some business & dev understanding. Such person should also be open-minded and imaginative as I believe it is a must to get as much from SME as possible.

How does an Infrastructure Specialists day look like?

Mails, coffee, checking if anyone needs help or anything needs to be done, planning & imagining some new cool stuff that might be useful, constant learning and development.

Are there any interesting places that you have visited, thanks to your job?

Hamburg, Czarny Potok in Krynica (unluckily no Omsk ☹ )
