Within the Workforce and Organisation Academy there are a variety of roles that you may take on, that include but are not limited to:

A Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for defining and maintaining project management standards, ensuring projects are managed effectively and providing governance and support for project execution. The PMO is vital in ensuring that all streams collaborate effectively, extending its role beyond mere administrative tasks. An Academy PMO is learning their “trade”. They are at an early stage in their PMO journey, and will be directed, led, and managed by more senior resources.

This role focuses on supporting the Change Management team, by collaborating closely with them to develop and execute communication strategies that align with the overall change plan. Additionally, it involves keeping all stakeholders well-informed by maintaining a steady flow of information to them, ensuring they are supportive of the change by creating success stories, case studies and testimonials from early adopters to highlight the benefits and encourage wider acceptance.

The L&D support role is designed to assist the L&D teams in meeting various business needs. This role is crucial for bridging skill gaps by identifying and addressing deficiencies within the organisation. It fosters a culture of continuous learning through ongoing and updated learning materials, ensuring all employees are well-prepared to face new challenges and responsibilities. Additionally, the L&D team aligns learning initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives, ensuring that training programs contribute to overall business success.

The HR support role is designed to assist the HR Team in conducting various projects, from the HR Advisory and HR Discovery, to HR Transformation, Recruitment, Talent, and Op Model work. Within the role, there is the opportunity to experience a range of HR projects, which will help you decide which area you might want to specialise in. The role will give you insight into our Employee Experience and HR Offerings, and our stance on HR 4.0 – a move towards the HR function becoming a strategic partner to the business. The role will also introduce you to the employee lifecycle and how this is taken into consideration during HR transformations.

Business Analysis is the practice of enabling change in an organisational context, by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. As a BA, you’ll work with colleagues and other stakeholders to investigate operational issues, problems, and new opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in aspects of business areas or systems. You will apply business analysis change and software development lifecycles will become a part of your everyday role. The way that your role works may vary depending on whether the project is set up using Agile or Waterfall methodology.
