Against the background of an increasingly turbulent world, in 2021 we accelerated our journey towards becoming a net zero business, whilst continuing to foster an inclusive, diverse workplace and opening up employment pathways for those who are underrepresented in the technology sector.

Highlights from our 2021/22 report include:

• Receiving A List recognition by CDP for leadership on climate action. We deployed our Carbon Travel Dashboard to optimise management of our UK business travel emissions, and secured 95% of the electricity used in our UK offices and data centres from renewable sources. We also launched our Carbon Impact Calculator to provide clients insight into carbon associated with our services, and unveiled three new service offerings to help clients address their sustainability challenges.
• Winning a Better Society Award for our work to assist those from disadvantaged backgrounds to become software engineers, with CodeYourFuture. In total, our digital inclusion programme supported more than 3,400 individuals to build their digital skills through our various community outreach initiatives in 2021.
• Ranking first in the Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers List. We supported 160 women towards leadership through our Women on Boards programme, were listed as a Top 75 Employer in the Social Mobility Employer Index, and rated as a Gold Employer by Stonewall UK reflecting our acceptance without exception for everyone who identifies as LGBT+.
