A customer from the banking industry approached us with a request to create infrastructure in Azure for a system that was supposed to be migrated from on-premises.

During the work, it became evident that we also needed to handle code migration and ensure the entire system worked properly. After months of significant effort, we not only achieved our main goal but also improved the performance of the system and developed new tools that allowed us to delegate most of the support work to a different team.

I believe the key to our success was the excellent cooperation within the team. Face-to-face meetings in the office helped us choose the best possible solutions. Despite the enormous amount of work to be done in a very short time, the great atmosphere within the team always supported us during the most challenging moments of the project.

At Capgemini, I work in the Platform Engineering team, delivering highly dynamic and automated systems. We are responsible for the Internal Development Platform (IDP) created on the AWS cloud with a HashiCorp technology stack, providing a flexible environment used by other development teams. This gives me the opportunity to expand my broad DevOps knowledge, starting with CICD, IaC, cluster administration for secret management, configuration, service discovery, application orchestration, and more.

I have had the opportunity to work in several large IT companies, and I must admit that the development opportunities at Capgemini are among the greatest. Capgemini has given me the opportunity to participate in industry conferences, provided me access to certification vouchers, as well as sandbox accounts of the biggest cloud providers to improve my skills.

I receive full support from PDL, which greatly encourages me to improve my skills. Before proposing any approach, they inquire about the direction in which we would like to develop, taking into account project requirements and industry demand.
