More importantly, according to Capgemini Research Institute, 50% of organisations set sustainability goals, while less than 18% set goals for sustainable IT as part of their strategy. Today, organisations are responsible for establishing an IT sustainability roadmap and setting achievable decarbonisation goals before new regulations come into effect. In fact, early-stage implementation can reduce CO₂ by 60% within an IT system.
