Empowering Learners with Digital Skills

At Capgemini, we believe that education is the cornerstone of community and national development. In today’s rapidly evolving digital and technological landscape, transforming teaching and learning methodologies is essential. Capgemini’s programs aim to bridge the digital divide by delivering 21st-century education to government school students, emphasizing access, quality, and inclusion.

Through our Digital Citizenship program, we are creating a digitally enabled society that uses technology to engage in socio-economic and political landscape. We provide access to digital devices to the most excluded, impart foundational digital skills to the digitally excluded to help them take their first steps towards digital autonomy. We aim to raise digital awareness and inspire future innovators to pursue careers in tech.

Enlight’s mission empowers marginalized young girls, including those with disabilities, from minority communities, and affected by HIV/AIDS. By collaborating with these communities, we provide equitable education, helping girls overcome barriers and realize their potential. Enlight believes that educating girls transforms their futures and, ultimately, the nation.

Capgemini has undertaken several initiatives to drive learning on emerging technologies like AI, Robotics, Coding and Tinkering among school students in India. Focusing on digital citizenship, Capgemini ensures that students in government schools across India are provided with equal opportunities to explore STEM as a potential career path.

We have collaborated with NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission(AIM) Program where we are building capacity of Atal tinkering Lab Incharges and mentoring students to develop innovative prototypes. We are also focussing on capacity building of Atal Innovation community centres (ACICs) and supporting ACIC fellows and  grass root innovators.

Our digital literacy programs aim to bridge the digital divide. They provide access to digital tools and devices, teach foundational digital skills to the excluded, and inspire young people and women to pursue careers in tech.  We aim at making communities digitally literate by providing access and training to digital content to ease day-to-day transactions for better participation in socio-economic and political conditions.
