Teens in AI

Shaping the AI future: Trust, transparency, and fairness in the age of generative AI.

AI is transforming the world, but who gets to shape AI?

At Capgemini, we are committed to fostering inclusive innovation in the world of AI. We believe in creating opportunities for young minds to not only learn about this technology but also to have a seat at the table where it’s being shaped.

As a global leader in the field, it is our responsibility to ensure that AI reaches its full potential by making sure that the teams behind shaping it are as diverse and inclusive as the world they aim to serve. Diversity in AI is not just a choice – it’s a prerequisite to fairer, more transparent systems and reduced bias.

Continuing our partnership with Teens in AI

As we continue to inspire the next generation of data and AI talent, we are proud to continue to partner with Teens in AI. For the third year in a row, we will join forces with this global initiative, this time to deliver a series of dedicated online Forums that will equip young talent with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to drive the future of AI.

Through this exciting initiative, we actively reinforce our commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity of thought in the Data and AI domain by providing mentoring, expertise and industry insights to teens across the globe. Together with Teens in AI, we are inspiring today’s young minds that will create the trusted AI solutions of tomorrow, reflecting a broader range of perspectives and serving the needs of diverse communities.

“Diversity in AI should not be a number to be reached. It is way more than a matter of fundamental equity; it is also a powerful lever of value creation. The entire underrepresented population must be part of the change that AI is creating. And this starts from a very early age. By partnering with Teens in AI, we aim to create this positive impact and ensure that AI is in the hands of everybody,”

Anne-Laure Thibaud, EVP, Data & AI Group Offer Leader, Capgemini.

“The disparities relating to diversity and representation within the AI and tech industries need to be addressed to ensure that the future of these industries is representative of the people who use them and does not perpetuate the biases we still see today. This is why our goal is to bring the skills to teens from all backgrounds, ethnicities and genders early on. There is no better time than right now to embrace equity.”

Elena Sinel, Teens in AI CEO.

“As a leader in Data & AI, we are proud to partner with Teens in AI, for third year in a row, to inspire and empower the next generation of tech innovators. Our long-term collaboration with Teens in AI underscores our commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and ethical AI practices. In the era of Generative AI, it is crucial to prioritise ethical considerations to ensure that AI development is responsible and beneficial for all. By supporting Teens in AI, we are shaping a future where AI serves as a force for good, driving positive social impact and innovation.”

Sergey Patsko, Data and AI Deputy Group Offer Leader, Capgemini.

Teens in Action Forum

Teens in Action Forum is a pivotal moment in our ongoing journey with Teens in AI. It brings together teens, educators, and Capgemini experts for inspirational discussions on the future of generative AI, AI ethics, and diversity in tech.

The forums are exclusive to teenagers and represent a great opportunity for them to explore various topics, including shaping AI for a fairer future, why diversity is essential for creating ethical AI systems, and trust and transparency. These discussions inspire thought leadership and foster collaboration for a more inclusive and responsible future in AI.
