Two key new hires strengthen Capgemini Consulting’s Utilities team in the UK

09 Mar 2016

Alain Bollack previously worked at PWC and IBM before joining EY in 2006. He has over 25 years of experience working with clients around the world on large transformations and has advised some of the largest utilities companies across the world on their smart energy programmes. His technical skills include all aspects of supply chain, including procurement, distribution, logistics and manufacturing. Alain will lead the Smart Energy Services Centre of Excellence team.

Mike Wilks has a strong track record in understanding and improving energy networks performance. During his 25-year career, he has led numerous regulatory, due diligence and operational reviews of energy businesses worldwide, and has advised Ofgem, the UK Government and European Commission on the effective deployment of smart grids and associated smart energy services. Before joining EY, Mike led network utilities activities at Poyry and KEMA. Mike will join the Assets and Operational Centre of Excellence team, and will help further build Capgemini’s energy networks business.

Martin Wells commented: “We’re delighted that Alain and Mike have chosen to join our growing Utilities team at Capgemini Consulting. Both bring tremendous experience working with national and international organisations, and have a proven delivery track record helping clients successfully transform to take advantage of the opportunities in the smart energy market. At a time when our utilities clients need partners with the expertise to nudge them ahead of the competition, they will help us build our already impressive smart energy services capabilities.”
