Capgemini Invent Accelerate Graduate Programme – Financial Services Entry Route

This entry route is for applicants who wish to provide a preference to align to the Financial Services Academy once The Institute has been completed.

In addition to the entry specifics listed here, for this entry route we require applicants to have a passion for driving value and transformation in (UK or Global institutions of): Retail Banks; Business and Commercial Banks; Mid/Large Corporate Banks; Wealth/Asset Managers; and/or Payments providers. We also expect applicants to have a demonstrable interest in digital transformation and its impact on the Sector.

On entry to the Financial Services Academy, individuals will have day-to-day tasks that can vary from assisting with the implementation of Financial regulations, driving the digitisation of Financial Services and making them more user-friendly, helping Financial Service organisations respond to urgent crises, e.g. in the wake of Covid, collaboratively in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement and creating strategies as well as developing business cases to support investment decisions.

We require individuals for this entry route to have:

  • A passion of driving value and transformation in (UK or Global institutions of): Retail Banks; Business and Commercial Banks; Mid/Large Corporate Banks; Wealth/Asset Managers; and/or Payments providers
  • Ideally banking domain expertise or a good understanding in: Account provision; Cards and Payments; Lending and Mortgages; Asset management; Onboarding/KYC; Bank servicing and maintenance operations; Data architecture (within a large UK or Global Bank); Operational Resilience transformation.
  • Understanding of Banking product platforms and modern digital technologies
  • Stakeholder management skills, with experience of being able to influence senior stakeholders and “get things done” across a range of organisations, varying in size and complexity
  • Knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices
  • First class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
  • Problem solving skills to work as part of a team to address some of the biggest challenges faced by large Banks & FS institutions
