You don’t need to know everything – the key is being willing to learn.

What is your favourite thing about working at Capgemini Invent?

My favourite things about working here are the people and the focus on learning and development. I’m surrounded by supportive colleagues who are always keen to help and take the time to share their knowledge. I also really value the emphasis on continuous learning, as it allows me to explore areas that genuinely interest me and apply those skills.

What is your favourite Capgemini value?

My favourite Capgemini value is Modesty. It really reflects the culture I’ve experienced at Invent – people are genuine, down-to-earth, and focused on supporting each other. You see it in how colleagues listen and make space for everyone, no matter their level. It creates a friendly environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and learning from others.

What opportunities have you had to shape your career at Capgemini Invent?

The first three months in the Institute with a dedicated coach was instrumental in building a strong foundation in core consulting skills. My time in the Academy has given me even more opportunities to shape my career. Being exposed to so many different areas of work and sectors has really helped me understand what interests me. I’ve also been able to complete various certifications such as Power BI and Scrum Master, helping me build a strong and varied skillset.

What did you study at university? How has this helped you in getting a job at Capgemini Invent and in your role?

I studied French and Business at university, and those skills have translated well into consulting – particularly in stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and adapting quickly. Since joining, I’ve also been able to build technical skills I didn’t study at university, which has broadened my capability even further.

What has stood out to you most about Capgemini Invent and what made you want to apply?

What stood out to me most about Capgemini Invent and the Accelerate programme was the supportive, welcoming culture and how genuine everyone felt during the recruitment process. I was drawn to the focus on development, diverse project opportunities, and the chance to grow quickly in a collaborative, people-centred environment.

What advice would you give to students looking to apply to Capgemini Invent and the Accelerate programme?

You don’t need to have everything figured out – the programme gives you exposure to lots of different areas of work and skills. The key is being open to learning and trying new things. Whether you’re a graduate or looking to pivot into consulting, it’s a great platform to explore what you enjoy and develop valuable, well-rounded skills.
