Showing your ability to be innovative or creative is another great opportunity to stand out in your application. Problem-solving is a big part of consultancy and if you have experience of creating solutions, or working with teams of people to overcome a problem then make sure you include this in your application. The problem could be anything, but if you can prove you’re willing to be open-minded and be versatile to adapt to different situations then you will have a really good chance of progressing to the stage of the application process.

This one may require a pinch of salt, but nonetheless it is very important to always be honest and aligned with your own moral code. Having come through the application process and being a part of assessment centres and Inductions I believe the most important thing to remember is to be yourself. Think about you, what you are proud of, and what you believe makes you right for the job.
