Over the first of half of this year I have got involved in more CSD (Custom Software Development) activities, such as attending and presenting at the CSD graduate team event and participating in the CSD cascade, which I produced and presented along with other CSD graduates and HA’s.

The graduate team event was organised by a few of the Grads in Holborn. The one thing I love about working at Capgemini is you can travel and work in different parts of the country, it really ‘mixes up’ your week, so you can’t get bored! The meeting was extremely enjoyable and I am glad these are now set up on a regular basis, as it allows us to meet new graduates and catch up with others (as working in different locations can make it difficult to see each other) . We had members of the senior leadership team attend and talk to us and it allowed us to ask questions, which was brilliant- It’s not always possible to get face time with senior leadership!

It’s not all meetings, meetings, meetings afterwards we all went to the local pub for some food and drinks, it gave us time to socialise, in a more informal setting. Inevitably the evening had to draw to a close and I had to head back up to the Midlands… until next time!
