Mijn reis naar platform engineering was geen rechte lijn. Deze presentatie is een eerlijke kijk op de ups, downs en omwegen die ik onderweg tegenkwam. Ik deel de cruciale momenten die mijn interesse in het bouwen van ontwikkelaarsplatforms aanwakkerden, de uitdagingen die ik tegenkwam bij het beheersen van nieuwe technologieën, en de lessen die ik leerde van zowel successen als mislukkingen. Als je op zoek bent naar een eerlijke en herkenbare kijk op het pad naar platform engineering, sluit je dan bij me aan terwijl ik mijn verhaal deel en advies geef voor het navigeren in dit spannende vakgebied.

Workshop 1: Kafka, Spring Boot and the Art of Stream Processing

Deze hands-on workshop duikt in de wereld van real-time data streaming met Apache Kafka en Spring Boot. We bouwen een Kafka-topic, producer en consumer om streamverwerkingsoperaties op data uit te voeren. Als deelnemer krijg je praktische kennis van hoe je Spring Boot kan gebruiken om met Kafka te communiceren. Je zal in staat zijn om berichten naar Kafka-topics te publiceren en berichten te consumeren met behulp van Spring’s Kafka-integratie. Deze workshop biedt een solide basis voor het bouwen van complexere op Kafka gebaseerde applicaties. Maak je klaar om het potentieel van real-time inzichten te ontsluiten!

Workshop 1: Kafka, Spring Boot and the Art of Stream Processing
