What is World’s Most Ethical Companies®?

This recognition was introduced in 2007 by the Ethisphere Institute to publicly acknowledge and celebrate companies that consistently strive to strengthen their ethical culture—by promoting ethical business standards and practices, enabling managers and employees to make informed choices, and helping shape industry standards through the sharing of best practices.

Why is this recognition so important to us?

Each year, the process of nomination becomes tougher. We respond to a questionnaire of over 200 questions, requiring detailed inputs from various stakeholders in fields ranging from our ethical culture and program, corporate governance, third-party management, leadership, reputation, and corporate social responsibility.

And being recognized as one of the honorees motivates us to continually assess our practices, make improvements where needed, and maintain our commitment to ethical conduct.

About our ethical culture

In 2010, we set up a formal ethics program at Capgemini, with our Values at its core. This extensive program was crucial for the success of a diverse, decentralized Group like ours, with multi-cultural teams operating in more than 50 countries.

We take the time to talk about ethics together by regularly asking employees for feedback, empowering them to enrich our understanding and strengthen our ethical culture. This is an ongoing journey for us—one in which we continue to learn, adapt, and improve each year.
