AWS recognizes Capgemini’s global leadership in AI, innovation and industry

14 Dec 2023

Paris, December 14, 2023 – Capgemini today announced that it has won seven AWS Partner of the Year awards across a record number of global and local categories, including the coveted Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) Global Partner of the Year award. The awards demonstrate Capgemini’s excellence in supporting joint clients to meet the demands of the dual transition to a digital and sustainable economy. AWS also named Capgemini its Global Innovation Partner of the Year for delivering outstanding customer experience via an integrated lifecycle of services, and Global Industry Partner of the Year for Automotive due to Capgemini’s proven ability to accelerate transformation through purpose-built cloud capabilities and deep industry expertise. This year, AWS also named Capgemini its Global System Integration Partner of the Year for the EMEA region, recognizing Capgemini’s steadfast focus on delivering significant business impact.

As organizations across sectors and geographies navigate the next wave of generative AI transformation, Capgemini and AWS are well-placed to help joint clients implement their generative AI investments at scale and deliver business value through breakthrough innovations and industry-specific solutions. Capgemini was recognized in the AI/ML category for the development of the Lifecycle Optimization for Aerospace platform, built on AWS’s Cloud, that aims to accelerate the adoption of circular economy practices in the aviation industry.

The Lifecycle Optimization for Aerospace platform utilizes AI/ML to consolidate historical operation data and reconstructs a complete traceability of all the constituent parts of an aircraft. It is a foundational digital asset on which Capgemini builds services to optimize maintenance approaches and the use of existing parts. It also provides a decision-making tool for users in the various stages of the sustainability value chain.
