Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

As a Test Manager, no two days really look the same, which is something I enjoy. My day usually starts wtih a coffee combined with checking the testing status and identifying any or blockers early on. I spend a lot of time collaborating with both my team and stakeholders making sure requirements are clear, priorities are aligned and any issues are addressed quickly. Depending on the stage of the project, I might be involved in reviewing test coverage, supporting defect discussions or helping the team move forward when something is blocking progress. Overall, my role is about keeping things moving, ensuring quality and helping the team deliver with confidence.

Whats the best thing about working at Capgemini?

The best thing for me is the balance between structure and flexibility. You have clear processes and expectations, but at the same time enough autonomy to manage your work and contribute with your own ideas. I also appreciate the exposure to international teams and different ways of working, which keeps things dynamic.

I contribute by ensuring that what we deliver is not just completed, but properly tested, validated and aligned with the business needs. I focus on quality, clear communcation with stakeholders and making sure that issues are identified early and handled efficiently, so that the final product works as expected in real scenarios.

What advise would you give to someone joining or wanting to join Capgemini?

Be proactive and open to learning. There are many opportunities but you need to take initiative and explore them. Also, communication is the key, working in international teams means clarity and collaboration make a big difference. If you stay curious and involved, you can grow a lot here.
