HFS Research recognizes Capgemini as a Market Leader in its HFS Horizons: F&A Services-as-Software™, 2026 report

Oct 28, 2026

As finance shifts from labor-led delivery toward AI-enabled, outcome-led services, organizations increasingly need partners that can connect finance transformation, technology, and operations. In its HFS Horizons: F&A Services-as-Software™, 2026 report, HFS Research recognizes Capgemini as a Horizon 3 Market Leader for its ability to help organizations move toward more intelligent, software-like finance operations.

The HFS report recognizes Capgemini’s approach to bringing finance transformation, technology, and operations together as the F&A market moves toward Services-as-Software™ – a model in which finance capabilities become increasingly configurable, AI-enabled, and outcome-oriented rather than being primarily tied to labor and effort.

The combination of Capgemini and WNS strengthens this proposition through deeper finance process and industry expertise, alongside Capgemini’s technology, transformation, and integration capabilities. Together, these capabilities support the shift from traditional F&A delivery toward intelligent operations that combine people, data, platforms, and AI to deliver business outcomes.

This evolution reflects a wider change identified by HFS across the F&A market. More than 80% of the providers evaluated now cite AI-enabled operations and finance data foundations, making technology increasingly a baseline capability. HFS finds that differentiation is shifting toward the outcomes providers can own and deliver, with 86% of client references identifying AI in finance as a top priority for the next 12 to 18 months.

Capgemini builds on its established finance transformation capabilities and experience in outcome-led delivery to help organizations move beyond functional efficiency. Its approach brings together finance domain expertise, consulting, technology transformation, intelligent operations, and AI to help CFO organizations improve areas such as working capital, productivity, control, and business performance.

The recognition also builds on Capgemini’s previous Horizon 3 Market Leader placement in HFS Research’s F&A study. In the previous report, HFS highlighted Capgemini’s focus on client value and business outcomes, including its frameworks for linking finance transformation to revenue, cost improvement, working capital, risk and compliance, sustainability, and workforce outcomes.

“Capgemini is redrawing the traditional boundaries between finance transformation, technology, and operations. WNS adds the process and industry depth to make that model more powerful, particularly as F&A shifts from labor-led delivery toward AI-enabled, outcome-led services.”
