Pooja Herwadkar is the vice president and India Leader for North Central Europe SBU. In her current role, she is responsible for driving account growth, competitiveness, innovation, and talent evolution. As a Leader, she is committed towards building long term client partnership, while working in close collaboration with the Business Lines. Pooja is very passionate about client centricity and personally drives growth and account-focused initiatives to create value for clients’ Business.

Pooja has over 28 years of diverse experience across several industry sectors, regions, and disciplines. She started her professional career with Polaris and then joined Aptech working for several Indian clients. She also worked with Siemens Information Systems Limited and then joined Silverline working for European clients. She then joined Capgemini Group in Oct 2002 and has been with Capgemini for more than 21 years. In her previous role, Pooja was the Head of Group Industrialization. Her expertise lies in pre-sales, organization design, delivery, and transformations.

Pooja is also a people leader and an accomplished coach and mentor. She is passionate about creating more opportunities for women to thrive in the IT industry and encourages success through focus, hard work, and confidence.

Pooja holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) degree from Gogte Institute of Technology.
