Parag Rede

Executive Vice President, NA Business Unit India Leader, Capgemini  

Parag Rede is the Executive Vice President of NA Business Unit (BU) India Leader at Capgemini. As a part of his current role, he is responsible for developing and deploying capabilities, solutions, offers, and assets for the NA market and delivering profitably. He helps bring power of the Capgemini Group to drive business growth and manages customer relationship and delivery governance.
 
Parag is part of NA Ex Co and India Country Board (ICB), working towards building a strong and unified India platform for NA BU.
 
He joined Capgemini in 2003 when India operations was in the early stages of evolution. He was part of a core team that helped grow Capgemini’s offshore capability, develop delivery models, offshore services, quality processes and go-to-market solutions.
 
With over 24 years in the industry, Parag has held key leadership roles across the world leading international teams delivering to global businesses. Prior to joining Capgemini, he has worked with USS Kobe, Chrysler, and Mercedes Benz. He has experience of delivering IT services in more than 10 countries across North America, South America, UK, Europe and Asia.
 
Parag is alumni of VJTI and Mumbai University. His special interests are in Supply Chain, Engagement Management and Process Consulting. He is active in social activities and is part of an NGO called VSM that helps underprivileged but talent students with their academic and professional careers. Parag has mentored several such students as a “virtual parent”.
 
Parag pursues interests in several aspects like Economics, Hindustani classical music, Poetry, Theatre, Spiritual practices, Photography, Chess, Cricket and Travel. He lives in Mumbai with his wife and two daughters.
