Hi, I’m Pranjal Khaire, a Workday Functional Analyst at Capgemini. I’m passionate about using HR technology to improve business processes and employee experiences. I work with clients to understand their needs and deliver effective Workday solutions across configuration, enhancements, and support. I also explore Generative AI and Agentic AI, which has expanded my perspective on how emerging technologies can drive business transformation.

What’s most exciting to you about your role?

What excites me most is the opportunity to work at the intersection of HR technology and emerging innovation. Every day brings a new challenge, whether it involves helping a client optimise HR processes through Workday or exploring emerging technologies to address evolving business needs. The variety of experiences, continuous learning, and opportunity to improve both business outcomes and employee experiences make my role exciting and rewarding.

Can you talk about your experience of learning at Capgemini?

I began my Capgemini journey as a fresher and learned through structured training, project exposure, mentorship, and collaboration with experienced colleagues. I initially completed my Workday Pro HCM certification, which helped me build a strong foundation in Workday. As I gained experience, Capgemini’s Workday practice supported my professional development by enabling me to pursue the Advance Workday Pro Absence Certification, which I completed in July 2026. Capgemini provides an environment where professionals can strengthen their expertise and stay connected with the platform’s evolving capabilities. These learning opportunities have helped me build confidence, expand my skills, and prepare for new challenges.

Was there a specific Capgemini program or initiative that played a key role in your journey?

Contributing to the Workday practice’s GenAI capability initiatives has played an important role in my journey. I had the opportunity to work on GenAI use cases and demonstrations that showcased practical business value. I also tracked new feature releases, collaborated with the Global Workday team, and supported awareness-building activities through knowledge-sharing sessions and AI-focused events. A particularly memorable experience was representing the Workday practice at an internal event, where I presented GenAI capabilities and use cases to a broader audience. The experience strengthened my confidence, expanded my network, and allowed me to contribute to innovation beyond my regular project responsibilities.

What is your experience of inclusion at work?

At Capgemini, I have always felt encouraged to share my ideas, take ownership, and contribute, regardless of my level of experience. As an early-career technology professional, the collaborative and supportive environment has helped me build confidence and grow professionally. Whether collaborating with global teams, presenting at organisational events, supporting colleagues, or contributing to initiatives beyond my project, I have always felt trusted and encouraged to make a meaningful contribution.

How have Capgemini’s people, leaders, or programs helped you thrive?

The support I received for continuous learning and certification has played an important role in my growth. Guidance from experienced colleagues and leaders has helped me expand my skills, explore new areas, and take on challenges with greater confidence. I have also benefited from opportunities to collaborate with the Global Workday team and connect with different project teams through Generative AI and Agentic AI initiatives. Together, these experiences have broadened my perspective, strengthened my professional network, and accelerated my development.

What piece of advice would you give to a new joiner starting in your role?

Stay curious, be proactive, and make the most of every learning opportunity. Do not limit yourself to your core responsibilities. Explore new areas, ask questions, take initiative, and own your work. Focus on delivering quality consistently while building strong relationships and maintaining a growth mindset. Opportunities such as certifications, mentoring, knowledge-sharing sessions, and organisational initiatives can provide valuable exposure. The more open you are to learning and new experiences, the faster you can grow, both professionally and personally.
