Hello, I’m Neha Tiwari. I joined Capgemini two years ago as a Manager after working in programming and cloud. I joined Capgemini for a cloud migration project, and over time, I got the opportunity to transition into a completely new role. Today, I lead a Data Engineering team supporting a North American client.

How does a usual day working at Capgemini look like?

My day at Capgemini is quite collaborative and fast-paced. I work closely with my team on agile delivery, sprint planning, progress reviews, and solving technical challenges. We use technologies like Databricks, Spark, Azure, and Power BI. Since I support a North American client, I regularly connect with offshore and onsite teams for discussions, reviews, and deployment planning.

Talk about a time you’ve felt supported in your development at Capgemini.

One of the biggest moments of support for me was when I moved into a Data Engineering leadership role. The role was new, but Capgemini gave me structured training, certification opportunities, and support from experts through the Center of Excellence teams. I completed my Databricks Data Engineer certification, attended learning sessions, and received mentorship that helped me build confidence and succeed.

Can you talk about your experience of learning at Capgemini?

Learning is truly part of everyday life at Capgemini. There are regular training programs, certifications, learning initiatives, and technical communities that help us stay updated with new technologies. When I moved into Data Engineering, I attended specialized Databricks training, earned industry-recognized certifications, and learned from experts across the organization. These opportunities really helped me build confidence and move smoothly into a new technology domain.

What is your experience of inclusion at work?

My experience at Capgemini has been extremely positive, especially as a working mother balancing work and personal responsibilities. I’ve always felt trusted, supported, and encouraged to grow. Capgemini recognized my strengths, gave me opportunities to showcase my skills, and supported me through flexibility, leadership guidance, and career growth, making me feel truly valued and included.

What’s been your experience of team spirit at Capgemini?

What really stands out for me at Capgemini is the way teams come together and support each other. I’ve received great encouragement from my managers, technical experts, colleagues, and client partners throughout my journey. This collaborative culture creates a strong sense of belonging and helps people learn, grow, and do their best work.

Talk about a time when you were able to be innovative.

A recent example was when we brought AI into our project delivery process. Through Capgemini’s AI learning initiatives, our team started using AI-powered approaches to improve productivity. We automated manual tasks, simplified data extraction, and improved delivery efficiency. Work that earlier took around three weeks was completed in about one week, creating clear value for our client.

What makes you stay at Capgemini?

For me, success is about loving what I do while keeping a healthy balance between work and life. Capgemini has given me that. In the last two years, I’ve learned new technologies, grown as a leader, worked with AI innovations, and had the flexibility to support my family.
