I am a deaf person with NF2. Completed 15+ years in Capgemini. Initial 2 years as Oracle Technical person. Then 13+ years as PMO in Capgemini. I am working from home and having flexibility to deliver my work as PMO. D&I Team, all my managers and HR helped me time to time to build my career.

My usual work day

I start my day with meditation, pranayama and yoga. I do manage my work by communicating via emails and communicator. Teams call with live transcribe are game changer post covid. I am actively engaged and manage to take calls now. It helped me work with my full potential. I do visit office and bond with my team.

My life at Capgemini

It’s been 15+ years long journey in Capgemini. Capgemini gave me an opportunity to grow as professional. I was diagnosed with NF2 after 2years joining in Capgemini. Got tremendous support from all stakeholders whether my manager, D&I team, HR and higher management during multiple surgeries and increasing disabilities. Every one helped me to re-shape my career once back in office.

Places I have been

I love traveling. I have been travelled to almost every tourist destination within Maharashtra and Goa. Visited most of historical placed in India. Most enjoyed trips are Jungle safaris in different National Parks in India.

Projects I’m proud of

Heathrow is one of the closed to my heart. I was oracle technical person there. Post diagnosis and surgery joined project as PMO. I was in Heathrow for longest tenure my service. 2^nd closed one is Canada BU PMO Team. It gave me opportunity to learn at whole new level. Both of them have enrich professional experience.

My personal life

I have married with love of my life and childhood friend. He was constant support all these years. My mom and sibling are my strength all these years. Now new additions as in-laws. I am blessed to be surrounded by loved one. My goal is to live content life with financial independence. Healthy diet, positive mindset and willpower have tremendous strength to overcome any hurdle that life throws at us.
