I am Lalitha Kaluri, Associate Consultant at Capgemini – India. I joined in March 2026 and on the same day as onboarding, I was given the opportunity to interview for a project, part of the insurance domain under Financial Services. The role has provided consistent exposure to real-time business requirements and direct client interaction, with new requirements and challenges arriving regularly.

What motivated you to join Capgemini?

I was motivated to join Capgemini because of the diverse opportunities to learn, grow, and work on challenging projects. The scope of work, exposure to client engagements, and the chance to develop both technical and professional skills in a collaborative environment made it an exciting opportunity for me.

How was your experience with integration into Capgemini?

I attended in-person onboarding in Hyderabad, where an interactive induction session explained how the organization operates. That session also introduced the buddy program and the learning platforms available to employees. After enrolling into the buddy program, my transition became considerably structured, I was guided through key activities, showing how internal tools and processes function, and connected with the right people whenever assistance was needed. The program provided both practical knowledge and a strong sense of support during my initial weeks.

What was your experience with the India Continuous Assimilation Program (I-CAP)?

The India Continuous Assimilation Program (I-CAP) played a significant role in my transition into Capgemini. The HR-led sessions were interactive and well-structured, while the overview connect sessions and daily episodes kept me engaged from the start. As part of my learning journey, I self-enrolled in OCEAN certification programs covering skill-advanced and role-based training along with industry certifications relevant to my domain.

What stood out was the ICAP community for new joiners, which provided regular, focused insights into the organization’s culture, values, and initiatives. This continuous engagement, rather than a single onboarding session, helped me stay connected and supported throughout my assimilation journey.

What is the one thing you like most at Capgemini, and why?

The consistent willingness of people to support one another. I work alongside colleagues from varied backgrounds, and the culture across managers, peers, and senior leaders is defined by mutual respect. The organization places clear emphasis on learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing, and that collaborative approach shapes a productive day-to-day environment.

What message would you give to individuals who want to work at Capgemini?

I would recommend Capgemini to anyone considering a career growth. For individuals looking for an environment that encourages learning, collaboration, and professional advancement, it offers a compelling opportunity.
