Meet Anthony Johnson, an IT Manager

I started in support. I stayed curious, kept learning and grew into a leader.

I joined Capgemini as a third-party contract support staff member, handling basic IT support while completing my graduation. Working alongside IT professionals sparked my curiosity about technology, and I began investing in myself through education, certifications, and hands-on experience. That commitment opened the door to a full-time role in 2007.

Over the years, I progressed from entry-level IT support to Senior Manager, and today I lead onsite IT operations for Capgemini’s Bangalore location. What made the journey special was an inclusive environment that kept encouraging me to grow and take on what came next.

That growth was never limited to my role. My passion for cricket and football led me to represent and captain both teams, and eventually serve as Sports Committee Head for Bangalore. I’ve also found ways to give back through volunteering, employee engagement, and CSR initiatives.

Looking back, my career here was never just about the job. It was about everything this place made room for me to become.
