FUN – A way of life at Capgemini

Our focus on Fun is second to none and we have done it on a grand scale, making it to Guinness World Records and the Limca Book of Records … no less! That’s how we bring the best in our people.

Thank God It’s Monday (TGIM), our flagship employee engagement initiative where Capgemini’s inhouse band Rubberband played live music in office cafeterias across India offices during lunch time continuously for more than 16 years, has figured in the Limca Book of Records. And during the COVID lockdown, our Digital TGIM conducted virtually proved to be more successful than live events.

The BIGG BOSSS – Work Fun Home campaign was launched with a series of contests to live our core value of Fun during the COVID pandemic. Bigg Bosss connected 1,20,000 employees across hundreds of cities in India.

Capgemini has two Guinness World Records to its credit. A total of 4276 Capgemini in India employees danced their way into the Guinness World Records in 2016 for performing the single-largest Bollywood dance lesson in unison to set a new world record!

We made it into the Guinness World Records in 2017 for the most number of people (4930 employees) exercising to a fitness video at multiple venues as part of our Run Over Another Record (ROAR) event.

In December 2019, we celebrated the 650th episode of TGIM
by organizing the HISTREE – Songs4Sapling challenge. Through this nonstop concert, we pledged to plant 100,000 saplings for the 100,000 seconds of music we performed live. WWF India recogniz
