Sanjay Chalke

Chief Operating Officer – India, Capgemini

Sanjay Chalke is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Capgemini in India. In his current role, Sanjay leads multiple transformation programs, focused on operational excellence, talent acquisition, delivery assurance, and building cross-functional synergies across business units. He is also part of the India Country Board (ICB) and is the co-chairperson for the Diversity and Inclusion team.

In his previous position as the Executive Vice President and Head of Sogeti India at Capgemini, Sanjay oversaw profit and loss management, implemented strategic initiatives to enhance business performance, futureproofed portfolios, and cultivated high-performing delivery teams to foster innovation and thought leadership. He joined Capgemini in July 2016 and has been instrumental in key business transformation initiatives involving marquee global customers.

Sanjay comes with over 25 years of experience in the industry and has successfully led delivery transformation initiatives for global customers. He started his professional career with Siemens and also worked with Covansys before moving to CSC as Global Head for SAP Practice, Application & Solutions.

Sanjay has completed his Masters in Business Administration from University of Mumbai and executive education in General Management and Leadership from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He is also a sports aficionado, a marathon runner and an active participant in the community.
