India Center Head and Global BSv Industrialization Head – Capgemini

Akanksha Mehra is the India Center Head and Global BSv Industrialization Head at Capgemini. In her current role, as the India Center Head, Akanksha represents Business Services on the India Board and as Global BSv Industrialization Head, she focuses on adopting and deploying solutions, optimizing Capgemini’s economic model, and executing location strategy.
With over 30 years of experience in senior management roles, Akanksha brings with her varied industry expertise in strategy execution and running scalable delivery operations. She has led and delivered digital transformation projects to run smarter, cost-effective, and scalable businesses. Before joining Capgemini’s Business Services, Akanksha worked with Genpact in various roles since 2002. In her last role, she was the segment leader of Financial Services Captives while partnering on their transformation agenda.
During her illustrious career, Akanksha has held multiple leadership roles, including Customer Experience and Consumer Banking Service Line Leader, Global People Function Leader, and Global Operations Leader in Finance Services at Genpact. Prior to Genpact, Akanksha also worked with Citi Financial and Standard Chartered Bank, covering mortgages, share-backed lending, and branch banking.
Akanksha holds a bachelor’s in arts from Delhi University and Diploma certification from Columbia on Digital Strategies. In her free time, Akanksha enjoys traveling, cooking, and shopping.
