What was it that drew you to a career at Capgemini originally and how has the company changed since you joined?

I was a Java/J2EE Developer initially and was interested to work with an Integration tool called Mulesoft. Capgemini gave me the opportunity to continue my career in Mulesoft. Since then I’ve remained part of the DCX – Integration Team within Capgemini.

Senior Consultant – Mulesoft

What are you passionate about in your role?

Mulesoft is definitely where my focus and career is. I enjoy every minute of being able to explore every part of the Mulesoft platform which in turn allows me to focus and contribute more on the Mulesoft Cloud and On Premise solutions.

What does a typical day look like for you and what are you currently working on?

My typical day is spent on a client site, working with my client focused on delivering real world solutions to my clients problems. My focus is very much towards the Mulesoft integration projects because my skills and passion include both the Cloud and On premise solutions.

Tell us about your work life harmony at Capgemini?

The work life balance is good at Capgemini. If something has to be delivered, we work collaboratively as a team to ensure how the effort is dissected amongst the team to make the piece of work a success. Capgemini has always ensured that teams work together to ensure the workload is 100% balanced. We always work as a team to ensure we’re always supported and appreciated on every project.

How would you describe the culture at Capgemini?

What has been the most empowering moment in your Capgemini career journey?

To be honest all the projects I’ve been involved with have given me the confidence and made me strong enough to ensure that I can move on further to achieve success. Everything you do here is focused 100% on your career development.

How does Capgemini help support your sense of purpose in your career?

The Mulesoft platform Capgemini uses has really helped me when interacting with various clients. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on some brilliant projects and always been appreciated and encouraged to learn new technologies and continuously share knowledge for the fellow new employees.

What have you gained from working at Capgemini from a career perspective?

I’ve had the opportunity to work on proejcts using technology I’m passionate about and have learnt to interact and collaborate with various fellow workers with different mindsets. This is great for my career.

Capgemini’s approach to diversity is global not just local. It’s really helped me learn how to work with a range of people with different cultures from around the world and given me opportunities to continuously learn new things.
