Sydney, October 07, 2020 – Capgemini today announced that it has won a 2020 ISG Paragon Award™ APAC, in the ‘Imagination’ category, in collaboration with its client Services Australia, a Federal Government Agency responsible for the delivery of Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support payments and services.
The ISG Paragon Award™ recognises the year’s most innovative and impactful sourcing partnerships. This collaboration was selected for its Document Management Modernisation through Intelligent Automation project.
Services Australia’s customers upload more than 25,000 documents each day using the agency’s secure Document Lodgement service. COVID-19 has led to a growing demand for online services. As part of this collaboration, Capgemini helped Services Australia to build on its existing architecture to introduce new ways of working, by leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence to further develop the agency’s Document Lodgement service. Through the use of machine vision technology, the partnership has built the capability and is beginning to pilot a range of enhancements to the existing service.
Services Australia’s vision is to provide trusted services that are respectful, simple, helpful and transparent, while delivering vital payments and services to Australians. Through their digital transformation, the agency continues to re-design the way they do business using new and emerging technology to improve their systems so they are easy to use and responsive to customer needs. The work Capgemini and Services Australia is undertaking to provide an updated service that assists customers to submit, classify and verify documentation online has never been more important.
