Analogies with the 1920s are not always fully accurate, though they still provide valuable lessons. The world was emerging from WWI and the dire consequences caused by the Spanish flu pandemic, and that an unprecedented global growth and prosperity period eventually followed. History has shown that technology-led transformation has helped fuel recovery: cars, electricity, radio and communication networks forever changed how people have lived and worked. Notably, employers began investing in employees more than before and new leadership models was developed.

Therefore, it is expected that technology is enabling new platforms, leadership, culture, and ways of working – components of business that will forever and fundamentally be impacted by the current global situation.

What was once a merely “an online meeting” is evolving into social gatherings and real-time collaboration through virtual spaces. Everyone has become a video producer and online contributor without knowing it. New work platforms are adopted and deployed in both local and global businesses. Leaders are finding new ways to lead and reach out to their teams. Simply put… we’ve arrived in a completely new era.

How can you and your organization even more effectively collaborate in an online context that drives tangible, differentiating outcomes?

Taking next innovative steps… is customer-centric and creative innovation important to you?
