Christine Hodgson to join Severn Trent plc as Chair of the Company

“Christine’s appointment confirms the very recognition that she built through a memorable performance as a CFO and as a business leader at Capgemini. We wish her well and every success in her next chapter,” said Paul Hermelin, Chairman and CEO, Capgemini Group.

Christine will join the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from January 1, 2020 and will succeed Andrew Duff in April 2020.

Commenting on the news Christine said: “This is a great opportunity for me that I am very much looking forward to. After 22 years with the Group, I will be very sad to leave but I will always remain a member of the Capgemini family that has been such an important part of my life.”

Christine Hodgson joined Capgemini in November 1997 and has held various leadership roles across the Group – from Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the UK, CFO of Global Outsourcing, and Strategic Business Unit leader for Technology Services North West Europe, through to Chairman of the UK and Chief CSR for the Group.
