How do you feel in the morning getting up and going to work at Capgemini?
I find cybersecurity so fantastic and I usually have a lot to look forward to in my day. I am always thrilled to greet another day with a new challenge.
What do you love about being a Director – Cybersecurity?
Cybersecurity is niche and dynamic, where the threat landscape changes based on geography, industry vertical, and time. What I love about it is its dynamic nature as it requires me to be thorough and updated with changes. This makes me feel relevant and valued.
How does Capgemini empower you to master your skills as a Director – Cybersecurity?
Capgemini culturally puts a great effort and time to know me – not only my professional traits but also personal ones. Capgemini culture is purely human-centric that makes me give my discretionary effort when it’s required. Capgemini also brings out the best in me by encouraging, guiding, and empowering me to think outside of the box.

Capgemini has enabled and guided me and provided me with the tools and resources I needed to reach my goals. The autonomy that I talked about empowered me to tap into the meaning that underlies my work. I have made mistakes and learned from them and I was provided constructive critical feedback. This helped me cultivate wisdom while Capgemini has continued trusting me and investing in me and my ideas because it believed I’ll make it worthwhile.

How does this all combine for you to have passion for what you do?
Continuously learning a new skill has made me feel inspired and makes me feel valuable and relevant. I have been given an opportunity to speak in forums, take professional courses, participate in cross-business unit projects, be assigned a mentor, and simply be encouraged to build my personal social network. All of this has created an additional passion for cybersecurity that I was already passionate about.
What was the most memorable moment in your Capgemini journey?
The most memorable moment was when I first met my Connect & Drive program fellow participants. The Connect & Drive program is a prestigious, award-winning, global learning program in the field of innovation and business. There are 100 participants chosen for this nine-month program from various countries and geographies. It was so fascinating to meet, engage, and learn with such a diverse group. The best part is, the group is still connected. We share our experiences, learnings, and assist each other when required. We have a special bond.
