Publish date:

Paris, Frankfurt, September 17, 2012 – During the next five years, Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, will conduct a global transformation project for E.ON. The contract with E.ON, one of the world’s largest private companies in the electricity and gas sector, has a project volume of almost 50 million Euro and was closed at the end of 2011. It covers three areas, application lifecycle services for Business Information Management, the SAP® ERP (SAP Enterprise-Resource-Planning) application and industrialized software development. The contract was signed between Capgemini Deutschland GmbH and E.ON IT GmbH.

Capgemini was selected by E.ON following competitive bids from several leading multinational IT providers. By now the initial transition phase was successfully completed and Capgemini has already started to provide application lifecycle services for E.ON.

“With this long-term contract we deepen our cooperation with E.ON. Our experience in the area of application lifecycle services and our global presence are instrumental in this deal”, explains Olivier Sevillia, CEO of Application Services Continental Services Capgemini.
