Capgemini positioned as a “Leader” in NelsonHall Managed Security Services NEAT


The NEAT tool sits at the front-end of the vendor screening process and consists of a two-axis model.

In addition to its overall positioning, Capgemini has been positioned as leaders in all categories—advance Security, app security, and network security.

Capgemini was identified as a leader in the MSS NEAT evaluation due to its investment in security, from the establishment of its cybersecurity global service line, to new reusable services, and expansion of cybersecurity delivery.

NelsonHall’s (vendor) Evaluation & Assessment Tool (NEAT) is a method by which strategic sourcing managers can evaluate outsourcing vendors. The evaluations are based on a combination of interviews with the vendors and their clients. The vendors covered are typically the leaders in their fields.

The NEAT tool sits at the front-end of the vendor screening process and consists of a two-axis model:

  • assessing vendors against their “ability to deliver immediate benefit” to buy-side organizations and
  • their “ability to meet client future requirements”

The latter axis is a pragmatic assessment of the vendor’s ability to take clients on an innovation journey over the lifetime of their next contract.

“It’s an important result and a reflection of the investments made in our Managed Security Services and of the considerable work that has been done to promote our services to our customers and industry analysts,” explains Mike Turner, Cybersecurity Global Chief Operating Officer at Capgemini. “In 2017, we expect to see our cybersecurity business go from strength to strength through the expansion of our cybersecurity portfolio, with services such as threat hunting, as well as a greater geographic reach.”
