The world’s most important mobility companies met at IAA Mobility 2023, to share their newest solutions and technologies. Capgemini was a sponsor at the IAA Summit held from September 05-08, 2023, at the Messe Munich Exhibition Center. We had an exciting program for our clients, partners, and highlighting Capgemini as the employer of choice.

What we had in store at IAA Mobility 2023?

The IAA Summit covered all the major mobility areas where Capgemini play a key role in driving the future of mobility within the automotive industry. Key topics in focus include connected mobilityautonomous drivingsustainable supply chainsustainable mobility, the circular economy model, digital innovation, data, next-level user experience, and much more.

Daily booth highlights

Capgemini has joined forces with Peugeot Sport to accelerate and optimize the development of its hybrid hypercar, the Peugeot 9X8, which is competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), an international motorsport competition comprising several races, including the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. Our partnership with Peugeot Sport covers three key areas: sustainability assessment, data engineering, and data science. Pierre-Denis Autric, 9X8 Project Director from Capgemini was at the booth to answer any questions. Connected mobility – The digital cockpit

Seamlessly integrate digital devices like smartphones and add new features, functions, and services to the in-car experience, without ceding the customer relationship to third parties.

ADAS / AV Research and development vehicle

Equipped with sensors & hardware from our technology partners, the Capgemini ADAS/AV R&D vehicle provided a glimpse of the technology sophistication required to achieve autonomous mobility. The R&D vehicle was kept at the entrance to the Capgemini Office.

AI and Chat GPT in automotive – Discover Phoenix

We showcased the possibilities of AI for automotive manufacturing with Phoenix – Capgemini’s cutting-edge AI solution that merges the power of multi-modal technology and Chat GPT to reduce errors and improve overall productivity.

Future Forum Talks

At our booth, we hosted a 20-minute session that provided valuable insights on industry trends and latest innovative technologies twice every day from September 05-07, 2023.

A trained mechanical engineer, Hagen is a salesman at heart and a lifelong automotive enthusiast. At the start of his career, he combined these three passions while serving as managing director of his own engineering company. In parallel, he worked as a consultant within the automotive industry, specializing in strategy and change management. In 2007, Hagen was appointed global client service manager for a premium OEM, giving him the opportunity to further develop his expertise in sales and automotive. In 2014, he joined Capgemini as a global account executive and, in the years that followed, drove a ten-fold increase in the size of the account.
