My usual work day

I am not really a morning person; and this means by the time I wake up it’s already 8 am. However, I do ensure that I get into office by 9.30 am. From my home, it is 20 minute cab ride to the office, during this time I check my social media handles. The first thing I do in the office is checking my emails and responding to them (I usually have quite a few of them, since part of my team is in the United States). I work on the deliverables and constantly getting in touch with the team till evening. Since my Manager is in the United States, we usually have a call at 6 pm for a quick review. I try to leave the office by 8 pm and If there are any late-night calls I take them from home.

My Hobbies

I follow football news from around the world. I do not miss an opportunity to travel. I probably was the most excited person in the team when we came to know that we are going to Paris for the trainings. While I have not been able to travel a lot, I wish to follow this going forward. I also try to hit the gym whenever possible.

My personal life

I was born and brought up in Kerala and did my graduation in Kerala before moving to Calcutta for Post-graduation. I am the younger of two siblings. My elder brother is working for one of the reputed banks and both my parents are retired government employees. I am a foodie, and I can do anything (well, almost) for Malabar Biriyani. I love to travel and engage in adventure sports. Bungee Jumping in New Zealand is right up there on my bucket list. I also follow football (used to play a lot as well).

Expectations from E.L.I.T.E.

E.L.I.T.E. Program has delivered on everything and it has promised till date – be it exposure to leadership, intense training, intriguing projects – what is left to be tested is fast-paced growth. With sufficient efforts from me, I believe this will happen. The program is designed to ensure that good work is rewarded with quick growth in the organization and I feel privileged to have been given this opportunity. Also, in the first year I would prefer to have a diverse set of rotations so that I can make an informed decision about which team I would like to join.
