Experiencing Life at Capgemini

Culture and values are two important aspects of any being which drive behaviour. “You cannot deliver value unless you anchor the company’s values. Values make an unsinkable ship.” This quote by one of my role models, Indra Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo defines in order to deliver value to the clients, it is imperative to be deep rooted to your values.

As an individual, to achieve my career goals, it is equally important for me to be associated with entities that follow the same set of values. Thus as I was deciding to embark on my career journey after my post-graduation, an opportunity to work with Capgemini which is named as 2018 World’s Most Ethical Company seemed to be a perfect amalgamation of Career Opportunities and Work Culture.

The journey at Capgemini with Chrysalis batch 2018 comprising 129 graduates from top Bschools kick-started at Bangalore in June. Fun, a core value was in every element of the interactive sessions that we had over the 3 days induction event. Being a part of Post Sales Contracts & Commercial Management, working on the legal & financial aspects of an account indeed has been challenging and learning experience that I am currently enjoying.

People matter, Results count. A tagline that is just not a tagline but it is indeed followed. Freedom to take initiative in business aspect and also the encouragement that fellow colleagues and leaders have offered in my ongoing journey here is truly overwhelming. One of the most amazing sessions with Senior Leaders and fellow Chrysalis Batch joinees that I was a part of was the Top Line Center (TLC) Meet-up in Bangalore that exposed the opportunities and learnings that are there at Capgemini.

Developing my skills in a bid to take up more challenging work in the financial domain here is one of my aspirations in this journey. Looking forward to this journey exploring an opportunity to connect with fellow graduates and leaders who will help in building my career.

Truly experiencing Life at Capgemini.
