Salt River Project (SRP) is one of America’s largest public power utilities. It provides reliable, affordable water and power to more than two million people living in central Arizona. The community-based, not-for-profit public power utility provides generation, transmission, and distribution services, as well as metering and billing.
SRP wanted to achieve operational efficiencies and simplify its technology landscape to be more streamlined and to access and analyze growing amounts of data more quickly.
Capgemini provided an end-to-end HANA implementation in just six months that improves the Finance and Supply chain processes, leverages SAP FIORI apps to enhance the finance and supply chain experiences for clients, and strengthens Business (BW) reporting.
SRP is realizing cost savings and a 400% performance improvement on financial reports. SAP HANA also allows it to handle and analyze a vast amount of data to manage performance through quick data processing.
