Strategy and transformation

Explore opportunities in strategy and transformation.

Strategy and transformation (S&T) consultants are trusted advisors who help imagine, build, and scale what’s next. They are industry disruptors and enterprise innovators that partner with global leaders to unlock full value by combining strategic insight, scientific rigor, and diverse talent to co-create meaningful impact. Most of our S&T consultants sit within our digital innovation, design, and transformation brand Capgemini Invent where they reimagine possibilities, driving growth, shaping the future, and delivering lasting value to clients and customers.

As a strategy and transformation consultant, you will lead innovative projects for both internal and external clients. You’ll ensure timely, high-quality delivery within budget, while proactively addressing customer needs. Your expertise will be key in driving transformational change across business processes, organizational structures, and technology platforms.

Within strategy and transformation, you will…

As a trusted advisor, you’ll guide clients through their most critical challenges with clarity and confidence. You’ll help clients make smarter, faster decisions. You’ll build long-term relationships and co-create solutions that deliver lasting impact.

You’ll bring strategies to life by turning ideas into actionable plans. Using agile, design thinking, and AI-driven insights, you’ll facilitate workshops, gather and analyse data, and translate findings into clear recommendations. Working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you’ll ensure solutions are delivered end-to-end to make it real.

You’ll own the delivery of transformation initiatives from strategy to execution, ensuring tangible outcomes. Transforming retail operations with intelligent automation

A major retailer needed to rethink its inventory and warehouse processes to keep pace with demand. Here, the team collaborated with frontline staff to test and adopt new ways of working, leveraging intelligent automation to drive efficiency. From shaping the opportunity and securing senior stakeholder buy-in, to defining delivery scope, the consultants worked across the business to make transformation happen.

Driving change in the pharmaceutical industry

When a global pharmaceutical company introduced a new document management system, the team of S&T consultants played a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth transition. From designing training programs and crafting clear communications, to building champion networks, they helped their clients’ employees embrace new ways of working. This project is all about enabling people to adapt confidently to change, turning disruption into new opportunities.

Scaling climate tech through digital strategy

For a fast-growing climate tech scale-up, the challenge was clear: how to scale operations efficiently while staying true to its mission? The team of consultants partnered with the client to define a digitalization strategy, embed new processes, and identify the right technology enablers. This work combined strategic thinking with hands-on implementation, helping innovative business accelerate growth and impact.

S&T consultants’ perspectives

Hear from S&T consultants about their experience working on their favorite projects.

Unlocking insights from real-time data

“In my latest project I enabled my client, a global commercial vehicle manufacturer, to gain actionable insights into their processes based on the analysis of real-time process data from the as-is event logs in their system. The ability to monitor and report accurate process KPIs was the cherry on top!” – Pia, Manager, Intelligent Industry, Germany

Transforming customer experience at scale

“I worked with large international banks to define their roles and structures of the future, enabling them to be closer to their customers. Focusing on co-creation and embracing change, we achieved remarkable outcomes, such as bringing new, customer-centric ways of working to thousands of employees.” – Christopher, Senior Manager, frog, UK

Turning climate goals into action

“One project that I was proud of was supporting a leading Belgium telecom company integrate sustainability into their strategic planning, forecasting the impact of decisions on carbon emissions and optimizing long-term plans to align investments and operations with environmental targets” – Raphaël, Consultant, Belgium

Innovating infrastructure for a greener grid

“A huge number of wind turbines are needed to achieve the climate targets. The increasing transport of wind turbine components on the road infrastructure is full of challenges. One solution is to increase the transport of wind turbine components by waterway. In one of my favourite projects, we are facilitating the transport by waterway with a user-friendly database.” – Malte, Manager, Public Sector, Germany
