Digital Skills and Digital Academies

Across our footprint, we provide professional digital skills to populations at risk of unemployment to allow them to get jobs in the tech sector.

After high school, I briefly considered engineering schools, but they were expensive and not reachable with my grades. But then I learnt about Capgemini Digital Academy, which was offering a diploma course to become a full stack developer for free, I immediately registered. I did an internship after the course at Capgemini and was later integrated into the company.

-Imane Djellalil, Software Engineer, Capgemini and graduate of our first Digital Academy in France

In France, Imane Djellalil was part of a batch of 20 students from disadvantaged communities who were trained at our Digital Academy in Sarcelles, between 2017 and 2018. The Digital Academy is implemented by our partner Simplon.
