In 2026, Volker Darius became CEO Invent, shaping strategies, human-centered design and breakthrough innovations to help clients imagine, build and scale into an AI-powered future.

He joined Capgemini in 2008 and has held several senior leadership positions, including Chief Client Officer and in charge of Enterprise Transformation and Portfolio at Capgemini Invent. Most recently, Volker served as Managing Director for Northern and Central Europe for Capgemini Invent and acted as Executive Sponsor for the Middle East, where he successfully expanded the business, strengthened capabilities, and unlocked new value for clients across industries.

Prior to Capgemini, Volker gained experience at Audi and Philips, focusing on assessing the potential of emerging technologies. Earlier in his career, he co-founded two technology-driven start-ups, with the consistent aim of creating business impact through innovation.

Volker Darius holds a degree in engineering from RWTH Aachen University. He is passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to reimagine what’s next for clients, combining deep business acumen with hands-on prototyping to deliver complex, data-driven digital transformation at scale.
