In Capgemini the month of September is #Gradathon which is a global social talent branding initiative, promoting the difference our graduates make to Capgemini. Throughout #Gradathon our graduates share their experience of working with us to provide an insight into what life is like on our graduate programmes.

So what have we been up to during #Gradathon this year in the UK? We welcomed 63 new graduates to Capgemini and their first step with us was through our #GAPBeInspired induction. During induction this month our graduates got to see local Capgemini sponsored football club AFC Telford play, chaired now by a former Capgemini Vice President!

We also ran a series of internal competitions, including #TBT where we encouraged graduates to share their memories of graduation, travels and pictures to showcase themselves.

On Talent our intranet, we featured a weekly Guess The Grad competition where we saw 135 graduates submit their answers, matching faces to fun facts allowing them to get to know each other more.

We ran fun quizzes on Twitter to educate our audience about all things graduate related. In keeping with the quiz theme, graduates in the Worthing office organised a charity based Quiz Night for 60 people! See the winning team here.

We also held weekly ‘Where Am I Now?’ calls for the graduate community where they heard from Graduate Alumni from various Business Units on their career journeys, offering some hints and tips.

Dan Doherty our Social Media Guru held a session on how graduates could enhance their brand socially and our Global Head of Sustainability James Robey and Group Sustainability Reporting Manager Aphra Morrison talked about Leadership at Capgemini.

The month has also seen us continue to raise awareness of Active Inclusion with projects including designing digital content for users with accessibility needs as well as graduates attending Universities to support students with enrolment and to talk about their careers at Capgemini.

Externally, we’ve been busy promoting our graduates insights and wider initiatives as part of #Gradathon. We used the new talent branding for #Gradathon, combining visuals with quotes and a bio of our graduates. From bios to grad-written blogs, this blog explained hints and tips for prospective applicants. A great insight for them ahead of final year study and grad-job hunting!

We saw a raft of new UK graduate featured content available ahead of the newly refurbished website – just in time for 2016/17 academic year.
