I recently had the chance to congratulate a number of colleagues from around the globe who attended Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Orlando, Florida, where over 12,000 partners gathered for five days. It proved to be a successful week for the Capgemini Group with a host of sought after recognitions.  We took home multiple awards for exemplary work in the area of Dynamics and Insights & Data (I&D) with Microsoft.

First it was Capgemini Italy’s turn; receiving the Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle and Presidents Club award for the third year running. The Inner Circle is an elite group which represents the most outstanding Microsoft Dynamics partners whose sales achievements rank them at the top echelon among their global peers. The Capgemini Italy team were recognized for helping customers to redefine corporate business models, drive competitiveness and gain a quicker ROI. Scott Sweet, VP, NA Microsoft Service Line Leader and Wendy Corley, NA Microsoft Partner Manager accepted the award on behalf of Capgemini Italy.

Next up was Capgemini Norway who received its first award at the Microsoft event. It was recognized as the BI Partner of the Year, acknowledging the exceptional work of Norway’s Insights & Data team. Betzy Foss, Senior Software Engineer, Capgemini Norway accepted their first ever award for Digital Insight & Information Management.

Finally, it was Capgemini Portugal’s turn. They were the proud recipients of the Microsoft Dynamics Partner of the Year award for the second time in a row. The award is a testament to the effectiveness and commitment of Capgemini Portugal in the training and development of its employees, especially in Microsoft CRM technologies resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction in the projects undertaken. Jaime Cerejeira of Capgemini Portugal accepted the award for delivering Innovative Dynamics CRM project implementations.

The key to our success, particularly in Italy, is due to the  years of investments made and projects delivered in specific industries and markets including Discrete Manufacturing, Automotive and Fashion. When we meet prospects and customers, we talk about their business, explain how to solve their problems of production, logistics, controlling…and so on.

The experience on the projects and the excellent level of expertise of our delivery team allows us to be very effective in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, AX and CRM for our customers. With these solutions, we address the mid market companies in particular.  (up to €1 billion  of annual turnover). The relationship with Microsoft and the credibility we have gained in recent years is very important to us. This allows us to work hand in hand with them for deals that are increasingly large and complex, in the industries that we know well.

A decisive role is also played by the action of marketing and telemarketing that we do throughout the year, organizing of events and workshop, participating at fairs, where our customers tell us about their experiences..
All in all, these achievements that we replicate each year, confirm that the partnership between Capgemini and Microsoft is not adhoc, but pursued according to a broader global strategy.
