Converged infrastructure and engineered systems are playing more and more a role within the IT landscapes of Enterprises and large organizations. Due to their very nature that they commonly lower the total cost of ownership and easy the maintenance while providing extreme optimized performance makes it for a lot of companies the choice to go for.
Oracle provides a range of engineered systems like for example the Exadata and Exalogic platforms designed specifically for running Oracle databases and Oracle Weblogic installation in demanding environments. To be able to use the full potential of Oracle engineered systems Capgemini is working closely with Oracle product management and products development and is also aligning internal Capgemini product management and product development teams to use the full potential of Oracle engineered systems.
One of the first Capgemini product teams to adopt the full range of engineered systems is the t-Police team. T-Police (Transform Police) is a Capgemini product compatible with any existing application landscape, t-Police is an integrated policing solution built on a flexible technology platform. It can help you to:
Combine support and field services for greater administrative efficiency and intelligent case management
Support shared services across boundaries
Reduce costs through standardized and integrated processes
Improve crime reporting, and duty management using Oracle technology
Deliver intelligence, data integration and situational awareness through Palantir technology
Implement a phased approach
Provide access to information via a variety of interfaces
As of recent Oracle has certified the Capgemini t-Police solution Oracle Exadata Ready, Oracle SuperCluster Ready, Oracle Exalogic Ready, and Oracle Exalytics Ready and Oracle Weblogic ready. By ensuring the Capgemini t-Police is certified Capgemini and Oracle show their shared commitment to ensuring that law enforcements that do use the Capgemini t-Police solution will be able to benefit from the extreme performance delivered by the Oracle Engineered systems.
As a response to the certification of t-Police the below statement has been made by Oracle and Capgemini to outline the highlights of the certification.
