Capgemini appoints Doug Lane CEO of Capgemini Government Solutions LLC

Reston, Va., June 17, 2014 – Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, announced the appointment of Doug Lane as chief executive officer of Capgemini Government Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of the Capgemini Group. Lane will oversee the strategic direction of the firm and guide the delivery of a diverse range of solutions for the U.S. federal government, as well as state and local government agencies. He reports to Tim Bridges, chief executive officer, Capgemini U.S. LLC.

Lane brings 30 years of IT and consulting experience, which includes senior executive roles with A.T. Kearney, Booz Allen Hamilton, and PwC. Most recently, he was a lead partner at A.T. Kearney, responsible for business development and service delivery. From 2006 to 2012, he was at Booz Allen Hamilton, serving his last three years as a senior vice president where he led the transportation business and was the lead IT executive for federal energy, transportation and environmental agencies. Prior to that, he held partner roles with IBM and PwC, responsible for business development and service delivery for state government and utilities markets.
