Ramiro Santos and Joeri Frees – Capgemini’s new sector leads!

Capgemini recently has appointed Ramiro Santos and Joeri Frees as the new sector leads within the Consumer Products Retail and Distribution (CPRD) and Life Sciences industries respectively. One of our key group priorities is to enable our colleagues to get the future they want, and this move will support the priorities in many ways. The two new leads share their expectations about their new roles.

Ramiro Santos – Sector Lead, Consumer Products Retail and Distribution (CPRD)
Having spent 18+ years in IT and engineering services as a Telecom Civil Engineer, Ramiro has executed different roles across several key engineering projects, including driving the Digital Transformation services at Altran Belgium in his last role.

“I got to know about Capgemini’s people and culture during the past year, within the integration process. I’m convinced of the complementarity and strength of the combined forces. While talking to our customers, both old and new, I see that Capgemini is perceived as bringing a very interesting combination of process knowledge and IT services capabilities, which is key in the current digital transformation environment. I’m very happy to join the team and look forward to supporting our customers in a sector that is facing such an important transformation as we move in this post-COVID environment.”

Joeri Frees – Sector Lead, Life Sciences

During the first 17 years of his career in the IT Industry, Joeri worked as a Consultant in different roles like System engineer, Service Delivery Manager, and as a Project Manager,  whereafter he made a career switch to become part of the sales team. In the last ten years, he led the Health and Manufacturing sector at his previous company where he was responsible for Sales, Delivery and people management.
Speaking about his role as a Sector Lead for Life Sciences he shares:

“I am passionate about business growth and building client relationships, and a strong believer in the strength of a team to achieve our goals together. What I have learned in the past, and what for me is very important to create trust and get results is –‘To do what you said you’ll do’. One can put the best strategy in words on paper but only when executing the actions of your plan you will get results and trust of everyone. As Sector Lead Life science I’m looking forward to be a part of the Capgemini success story, and to grow the Life Science business.
