Johan Van Oeffelen appointed Managing Director of Capgemini Belgium

Diegem, January 18, 2024 – Capgemini announces the appointment of Johan Van Oeffelen as the Managing Director of Capgemini Belgium, effective January 1, 2024. Formerly head of Capgemini Engineering in Belgium, Johan Van Oeffelen succeeds Piet-Wybe Wagter, who has taken another role within the Capgemini Group. Piet-Wybe and Johan will work closely together until the end of March 2024 to ensure a smooth transition.

Johan Van Oeffelen joined Capgemini in 2020 and has since held the role of Managing Director of Capgemini Engineering in Belgium. Prior to this, he spent 12 years at Altran Belgium where he held leading positions as Technology and Innovation Director and at the head of key industries such as Transportation, Mobility, Electronics, Life Sciences. He started his career at ExxonMobil Chemical in 2005. Johan is a graduate of the University of Antwerp in Commercial Engineering.
