Blocks Guide- Part 1

1. Intro Para (Video)

This block supports YouTube videos. Using the Intro Para (Video) block, you can add YouTube videos to the web pages on your website. Using the block, you can also add a title and a description for your video.

Features and Functionalities

• You can choose from a variety of styles from Default to Saphire 3 to change the look and feel of the block. Refer to the screenshots below.

• You can align the video to the left or right-hand side using the Video Align Left option. Refer to the screenshot below.

• You can even upload a Transcript file using the Upload Transcript File feature for physically challenged users. Users can download the Transcript file using the Doanlod transcript option. Refer to the screenshot below.

• New Feature: The character limit for the block is Title – 34 char limit.

2. Latest Stories

The block has now been upgraded to pull data from any of the post-type pages including Client Stories, Events, Reports and more. The block can display either 3 or 4 recent posts depending upon your choice.

Features and Functionalities

• You can select post type from the Select Post Type dropdown. Refer to the screenshot below.

• You can choose the 3 or 4-post layout from the Select Layout dropdown. You can choose to select the post manually (fill in details manually) or automatically as per your requirement. Refer to the screenshot below.

• You can also add a Read More CTA by using the Button URL field.
• New Feature: The character limit for the block is Topic / Title – 34 char limit,
   CTA – 24 char limit

3. Wrapper Learning Slider

The block is used to display the content specifically the title and description in slider format. Using the block you can add a maximum of 5 slides and a minimum of 1 slide. Also, you can set the alignment of each slide as per your requirement.

Features and Functionalities

• You can add a Title, Description, and Brand Logo, and set the alignment for your slides. We have created Slide 1 as shown in the screenshot below. In this slide card alignment will be left by default.

• Similarly, you can create Slide 2 as shown in the screenshot below. In this slide card alignment will be on the right side.

Note: The slide alignment is the new feature here.

• Both sides will be visible at the front end as shown in the screenshots below.

• You can use the Long text toggle to increase the overall length of the slides. Refer to the screenshots below.

• You can also set background images for your slides by using the Background Image Settings section.

• Also, you can redirect your viewers to a specific URL by entering the URL in the Add URL field. You can provide the name of the CTA under the Add Label field. The user can redirect to the URL by either clicking on the CTA or the Title. Refer to the screenshots below.

• New Feature: The character limit for the block is Desc – 300 char limit with logo & nav and 360 char without logo & navigation. CTA – 24 char limit, slider – max 5 slides

4. Wrapper Card text-Pic

The block is used to display the content specifically the title and description in card format. Using the block you can add multiple cards aligned either on the right-hand side or the left-hand side as per your requirement.

Features and Functionalities

• You can add a Main Title and Description for the block before adding a Title and Description for your left card text-pic and card text-pic. Refer to the screenshot below.

• Besides adding just Title and Descriptions, you can also add Brand Logos, CTA buttons and URLs, by using the fields as shown in the screenshot below. Refer to the screenshots below.

• You can also set background images for your cards by using the Upload image section.
• New Feature: The character limit for the block is Title – no char limit
• Description – no char limit and CTA – 24 char limit

5. Wrapper Partners

The block is used to display the partner’s name and logo on the web pages. You can add multiple partners in a row in a Wrapper Partner block.

Features and Functionalities

• You can add a Wrapper Partner block and then add partners by selecting the required partner from the Select Proper Partner dropdown under Partners Card Settings. Refer to the screenshot below.

• The data for the Wrapper Partners block will be pulled from the Partners pages. And the logos for the partners will be derived from the featured images that have been set for the specific partner’s page.

• The Wrapper Partners block will be visible on the desktop with the name and logo as shown in the screenshot below.

• The Wrapper Partners block will be visible at the tab/mobile with only the logo without boxes as shown in the screenshot below.

• There is no character limit for this block.

6. Expandable Section

You can add multiple Expand/collapsable sections that can be expanded or collapsed as per the requirement.

Features and Functionalities

• Besides adding a main title for the Expandable Section block, you can add a title, subtitle, text and list for each section. Refer to the screenshots below.

• You can add up to two CTAs for any of your sections. Refer to the screenshot below.

• You can set the default status of a section as Expand and the viewer will see the section expanded by default at the front end. Refer to the screenshots below.

• In the collapsed state the section will show only the title and subheading as shown in the screenshot above.
• New Feature: The character limit for the block is Title – 34 char limit.

7. Call to Action

Using this block you can add a title and description about why someone should contact the organization. You can choose the background image and can add a CTA button in the block.

Features and Functionalities

• You can choose from several available themes to change the look and feel of the block. Refer to the screenshot provided below.

• New Feature: You can now add a form to the CTA button. All you need to do is enable the Show Form on button toggle, choose the form under the section Select the pop-up form, provide a title to the form in the field Title for form and finally from the Select logo on form dropdown, choose the logo. Refer to the screenshots below.

8. Expert Perspectives

The block pulls data from the Blog post type pages. The block will automatically display the recent blog posts but you can select the Blog posts manually by enabling the Manual Override toggle. The block will display the Tag, Title, Author, Date and image for the Blog post type.

Features and Functionalities

• You can use the blog taxonomy section to select the category and the type of blog. The filtered blog will then be displayed at the block. Refer to the screenshots provided below.

• You can use the choose taxonomy tag dropdown to select the taxonomy tag based on which the tags will be displayed. Refer to the screenshots provided below.

• For content group taxonomy, there is a new feature which can let viewers “read more” pages other than the ones which are visible on the expert perspective block

Note: This feature is only applicable when you choose “content groups” as your taxonomy

• Manual Override does not allow the “read more” button to activate. ‘Read more’ button can only be seen when we allow the system to auto-populate the expert perspectives.

• There is no char limit for the block

9. Wrapper Client Stories Slider

The block pulls data from the Client Stories post-type pages. Using the block, you can add multiple Client Stories. The block will display the Title for the block along with the details of the posts selected. The posts will be displayed in the slider format and you can add a maximum of 5 slides.

Features and Functionalities

• You can add multiple Client Stories posts by adding the blocks and selecting the posts as shown in the screenshots below.

• On selecting a post, the Title, Description and Read More buttons will be visible as shown in the screenshots above. On clicking the Read More button, you will be redirected to the specific post.
• The slider will be visible at the front end as shown in the screenshots below.

• The character limit for the block is Title – 34 char limit

10. Hero Bleed Banner

The block is the combination of multiple Hero blocks including Hero Picture Card and Hero (Homepage) data from the Client Stories post-type pages.

Features and Functionalities

• You can switch between 4 theme styles to change the look and feel of the block. Refer to the screenshots below.

• You can choose to overlay the banner or not overlay the banner. While choosing to overlay the banner you also need to choose the menu text colour. Refer to the screenshots below.

You can choose to show or hide the Hero Card as shown in the screenshots below.

• You can increase the length of the title using the Enable long title toggle and can increase the area of the media using the Enable full-screen media toggle.
• If you want to add a video, then you need to add an image too as the video will only be visible for the desktop view and not for the mobile view.
• There is no character limit for this block.
