A sparkling Diwali at Capgemini BE: A blend of lights, laughter, and unity

On November 21st, the Capgemini BE office at Park 7 came alive with the magic of Diwali, as our colleagues gathered to celebrate the ‘Festival of Lights’. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, and every face sparkled with joy, happiness, and warmth, much like the radiant lights that define the festival. As the festivities unfolded, our office became a vibrant kaleidoscope of colors, music, and dance, creating memories that will be cherished in the coming years.

This initiative was organized by Landed Arrival Lounge (LAL) in collaboration with the CSR Team of Capgemini Belgium. The celebrations kicked off with a mesmerizing song performance, followed by a fun-filled Garba dance workshop that had everyone twirling in joy! Here are the highlights that made the evening truly unforgettable –

Special touches: Soulful singing and festive decor

Our office was beautifully decorated with vibrant Diwali decorations that set the perfect mood for the event. From colorful rangoli designs to twinkling lights, the decor transformed the space into a true Diwali wonderland. A special Diwali song performance by our talented colleagues added a soulful touch to the event, resonating with the spirit of togetherness and joy that Diwali represents.

The Garba workshop: Stepping into tradition

The Garba workshop was undoubtedly the star of the celebration! This lively and energetic session brought everyone together to learn and enjoy the traditional Indian dance form. Everyone participated enthusiastically and explored this new dance form. It was also heartwarming to see our management team stepping out of their comfort zones and dancing to the rhythm of Indian beats with infectious energy. The room was filled with laughter and joy, reflecting a wonderful atmosphere of camaraderie and fun.

Diwali delicacies: A feast for the senses

No Diwali celebration is complete without food, and this year, the array of mouth-watering Diwali treats captured the essence of the festival. Our BE Colleagues indulged in a variety of savory Indian snacks, a mix of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to suit every palate. The refreshing mango lassi and the flavorful masala tea, added the perfect blend of sweetness and warmth to the special occasion.

Dressing up: The spirit of tradition

It was heartening to see everyone donning vibrant traditional attires, which not only elevated the festive spirit but also made the occasion feel more authentic. The celebration truly reflected the rich cultural diversity that makes our workplace so unique.

A PowerPoint presentation explaining the essence of Diwali fostered a deeper connection, a stronger sense of community, and cultural understanding among our BE colleagues. It was a beautiful reminder of the significance of this festival and the importance of celebrating together.
